You must at least download the 'required'. This is the minimal. It is strongly recommended you download all our files, this will avoid issues with skins, weapons, props and even maps. Hamachi is essential. Hamachi is just a network that allows us to play LAN, without it, we couldn't even play a game together due to the fact that WON.net is down.
Most of our users have reported Hamachi can be a problem. If so please contact us about this we will fix the problem ASAP.
An Instant Messenger like MSN Messenger is almost as essential as Hamachi. Though you could probably survive without MSN, it makes it alot easier to get everyone together this way.
