Alright, so you've signed up. To make things alot faster and easier, it is recommended that you also send an email to Trogers2 on top of the membership form you have just filled in. We also strongly advise you to use an Instant Messenger ( i.e MSN, Yahoo, Google etc..).
Once you've done this, you should:
- Add everyone, active in the UK, to your list. You can find a list of the UK members addresses here. Please ensure you tell them why you are adding them as it is possible the person will not know who you are. You can do this via Forums, Hamachi, Email or in-game.
- Download the "United-Kindred files". It is recommended you download everything.
- Join the forums and post a few random comments. This is a good way of getting to know the other members of the group.
- Download Hamachi (part of the United-Kindred files on top)
- Join the following network:
Network name: "Kindred-Knights" [Our old name]
Network password: "vtmr"
If the channel is full try the network 'kindred-knights' (all lowercase). DO NOT join both networks!
- The Intro game - Once you have had a talk with Trogers2/Isador over MSN/Yahoo you will be given the intro game probably by Trogers2, this will ensure you can RP and cope with the game. The Intro game will follow a simple hack and slash chronicle (NOTE: The hack and slash system is ONLY used for the intro game, other games such as pnp gams e.g. ShadowLances follow a rolling system e.g. New World Of Darkness rolling system)
- Once you have passed the Intro game, then it is best you get in touch with the Story Tellers. Currently we have around 5 STs*. You can get into a game by going on the forums and looking under "Arrange game" You can find a list of active chronicles. Read the post, if you are interested. Post a commend saying you are intrested and the ST should be with you shortly (probably within a day or so).
