Term/Command

Info

:

A very common command used when emoting. Most emotes have no action and are just used to describe what your character is doing e.g. ":walks around the room slowly while rubbing his chin."

Emotes such as “:bows, :wave, :taught, :menace” All have an action which your character will perform.

/(Player name)

The ST will use this command a lot if he/she wants only you to hear a specific scene i.e. /Auron You hear the sound of water rushing down the hill. This command is also used a lot for OOC, or if a player wants to whisper something only that player can hear which is often emoted before hand i.e. :Whispers to Jane /Jane We need to act fast.

,

Not used very often, this command is used when you wish to tell all the players in your team something, works like the whisper command but to multiple players. The default player team is ‘O’. Players on other teams will not hear this.

.

Used when you want to whisper to the ST only he/she will hear the whisper.

%

Used when rolling, the ST will ask you to roll a number of dices depending on your stat, the % followed by the number of dices will increase the amount of dices you roll e.g. %3 would be 3 dices.

;

An ST only command. Used commonly to describe a scene to all players, all players on the map (in different locations) will see this type of emote.

!

This will effectively make your character shout enabling everyone on the map (in different locations) to hear you, if the player is not in the location you are e.g. you are in east London and another player is in the shop and you do not shout, that player will not hear you.

OOC terms

OOC is very important when you wish to tell the ST or a player something not related to the game, this must be bracketed otherwise this will be counted as in game. Try to cut down OOC as much as possible, as too much can slow down the game.
